January 28th is International Lego Day. This date marks the day when Danish carpenter, Godtfred Kirk Christiansen, first submitted his patent for the original Lego brick in 1958. The LEGO company was founded in 1932, and made a variety of wooden toys. It took the name 'Lego' from the Danish words, 'Leg godt', which translates to 'play well'. It's still a big thing among children and some adults. Some of those adult enjoy acronyms. I hope you like these ones.
